Tesla cars will have Zoom video conferencing shortly
Zoom is partnering with Tesla to bring video conferencing into its automobiles.
The statement, delivered during the 2022 Zoomtopia conference, was sparse on details. Nitasha Walia, the group product manager at Zoom, claims that the video conferencing function “will come standard on all new Tesla models soon.”
Nitasha Walia, global product manager at Zoom Video Communications, said on Tuesday, “You’ve been zooming from your house, your office, your phone, and even your TV.” “We’re going to make it much easier for you to zoom from anywhere.”
Zoom’s claim that it “comes standard on all new Tesla automobiles” is not quite clear. Does Tesla need to install new hardware for this integration, or may it be made available with a software update? When exactly is that going to be, though?
To keep the driver and passengers entertained while waiting to charge their electric vehicles, Tesla has been updating and expanding its infotainment system. Its vehicles, all of which have enormous touchscreen displays, can stream Netflix and YouTube, has karaoke and offers a plethora of video games, including Fallout Shelter, Cuphead, and Stardew Valley.
Every one of these new forms of amusement and enhancements to the system’s performance has been made available through over-the-air software updates.
During its annual conference, Zoom announced the beta release of its email and calendar software as well as a partnership with AMC Theatres to debut Zoom Rooms in 2019. When businesses use the Zoom Rooms platform, they will be able to stream meetings to cinemas.
