More nations now have access to Google Play Games on their personal computers, including the United States of America, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. You are able to play a variety of Android games on your personal computer using a mouse and keyboard thanks to a new app that is now in beta testing. After announcing at the tail end of the previous year that Google Play Games will arrive on PC in 2022, Google began testing the software in January in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan (and later in Australia and Thailand).

According to Google, you’ll need a computer with Windows 10 or a later version, a solid-state drive with at least 10 GB of free space, a graphics processing unit (GPU) that’s comparable to an Intel UHD Graphics 630 or higher, a CPU with four physical cores, and 8 GB of RAM in order to test out the app. You can continue playing your game on another device because your progress will sync between your Android mobile and your personal computer.

There are currently 85 games available on Google Play Games; however, Google has stated that they intend to add more. The roster consists of titles such as Just Dance Now, WWE SuperCard, and Cookie Run: Kingdom. Those are certainly not forgettable titles, but if you look on Apple Arcade and Netflix, you might find several more heavy hitters.

The integration of Google Play Games into Windows is a different project from Microsoft’s initiative to make Android applications available on Windows 11. (which features apps from the Amazon Appstore). To start, Google developed the application known as Google Play Games. Perhaps Google’s next attempt in the game industry will be more successful than Stadia has been.
