More than twenty European countries now have access to Twitter’s premium service, Twitter Blue. Because of this growth, the social network’s subscription service is now offered in over 35 nations worldwide. In December, under Elon Musk’s leadership, Twitter Blue debuted with a monthly fee of $8 and a special “Blue” badge for subscribers.

The business eventually added options like longer video lengths (up to 60 minutes), longer tweets (up to 4,000 characters), and higher priority in conversations. The plan also includes archival tools like the ability to edit tweets, read and organize threads, and save bookmarks.

Twitter introduced an annual plan in January for $84 in an effort to boost subscriptions. Twitter’s annual plan for iOS and Android has been available for purchase in recent weeks for $114.

Despite Musk’s expectation that his membership plans would be a boon to his business, they haven’t been particularly profitable so far. The number of users who have signed up for the new Twitter Blue service is said to be significantly lower than 300,000.

This week, many Twitter users experienced issues with their timelines, searches, and direct communications. Musk allegedly fired over 200 employees in his most recent round of layoffs, which led to these problems.
