How to use Format Painter in Microsoft word.
This video tutorial will teach you on how to "copy format" from one text to another in "Microsoft word".
'How to copy formatting from one text to another'
1. Select the text that contain the
formatting you want to copy by using any of the text selection techniques
2. Click format painter from clipboard
segment on the ribbon, the mouse pointer changes to a paintbrush icon
Note: To apply the formatting to multiple texts or locations, double-click the format painter
3. Select the text you want to apply
the "formatting" to (i.e the destination text) or use the paintbrush to paint over
the text to apply the effect
Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+C (to copy the formatting you want) move the cursor to the place of insertion the press; Ctrl+Shift+V (to paste the formatting on text you want)
4. Press Esc key on the keyboard.
