Gatorade's smart bottle senses dehydration
A new smart water bottle from Gatorade uses perspiration as a hydration indicator. If you’re trying to up your water intake, especially after an exercise, this bottle will help you keep track. Users can monitor their progress toward their hydration goals using the Gatarade’a Gx app.
The bottle’s lid keeps track of how much water you drink each day and provides encouragement via flashing lights. Battery-powered and USB-rechargeable, the bottle is always ready to go.
A few years ago, the firm developed a wearable device that sends reminders to drink water based on perspiration rates.
Beginning today, you can purchase the water bottle starter kit on the Gatorade website for $70.
